A. Overview

The DPH Human Resources Staff Development Training Program, in concert with DPH Management, offers and coordinates a wide range of training and development opportunities designed to support division and department requirements for workforce development, program accreditation and training compliance.

In partnership with DHHS, we provide both general and required training courses that will utilize qualified division and department instructors. Our vision is to equip all DPH staff with the required training necessary to increase efficient and effective job performance and to ensure quality customer service.

Please note the intended audience for courses and obtain approval from your supervisor before making a registration request.

  • A supervisor is one that performs/is responsible for workplans/appraisals, which means they have someone to supervise.
  • An individual who just collects or maintains someone else's timesheet is NOT a supervisor.
  • Verbal approval to attend a course must be obtained from your supervisor before proceeding with a registration request.
