The final report of the North Carolina Public Health Task Force 2008 is now available. The NC Public Health Task Force 2008 continued the work of the original body, first established by the General Assembly in mid-2003 to study public health in North Carolina and to devise action plans aimed to strengthen the public health infrastructure, improve health outcomes, and eliminate health disparities.
